Said Elder Benjamín De Hoyos,
"Life is good, if we live in such a way to make it so.' . . . 'A good life' comes as a result of the way we do things, of the words we choose to say, and even of the kind of thoughts we choose to have. . . .
". . . 'Wanting to' is the determining factor which leads us to lay hold upon the word of God and be happy. Perseverance in making correct decisions is what leads us to happiness."
So stop yourself in whatever your doing or thinking about, and ask yourself this question:
"Am I happy?"
If not, decide right now to make whatever changes needed so you can be happy. Bringing happiness into you life doesn't always mean giving up or stopping something though. All that's required is a change of the heart and obtaining "a fresh view about God, about oneself, and about the world".
If your happy, then keep on keepin' on! Just think, even though Jesus Christ had a hard life (that might be a little bit of an understatement), I bet he has to be one of the happiest people ever to live! One of Christ's apostles, James, said, "Behold, we count them happy which endure" (James 5:11).
I sure am happy yet I know its a moment by moment decision to stay that way!
